WINTER 26/27 SPORTS

REQUIRED - Arbiter Sports Registration Opens October 7, 2026

 DUE 11/20/26 

Must have a completed Arbiter Sports/FamilyID Registration prior to a new season beginning.

Every Athlete, Every Season needs to complete one of the below registrations!

1. Register athletes that DID NOT play a fall sport this current school year. Complete FamilyID registration: Winter - First Sport for School Yr 26-27 / FASD Athletic AND Doctor's Physical Clearance Forms (Section 5 & 6) are required by Friday, November 20, 2026.  They must be uploaded to your FamilyID registration or emailed to boshell@freeport.k12.pa.us.The completed and signed Physical Exam (Section 6) must be dated by physician on or after May 1, 2026. Wrestlers only must complete Section 9.

2. Register ReCertification athletes that have ALREADY played a fall sport this current school year.                (this would include 7-12^th Football, 9-12^th Golf, 9-12^th Soccer, 7-12^th Cross Country, 9-12^th Volleyball, 9-12^th Cheer, 7-8^th Girls Basketball). Complete FamilyID registration: Winter - ReCertification / School Yr 26-27 / FASD Athletics If your child did not have an injury during the fall season, stop here, there is nothing else required of you. Section 8 is only required if you have answered "YES" to any of the questions in the Health/Medical field of your online registration.  A Doctor's signature is required on Section 8.  This should be the original Doctor that issued your restriction of play.   (For example:  If you had an injury in the Fall Season - Section 8 is required to play Winter Season). Wrestlers only must complete Section 9.  

 One of the above two registrations is REQUIRED to participate in the first official winter practice date of November 20, 2026

This is the official WPIAL practice date for fall sports.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE ARBITER SPORTS/FAMILYID REGISTRATION PROCESS:

A parent/guardian must register by clicking on this link: 

https://www.familyid.com/freeport-area-school-district

and then follow these steps:

1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
2. Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
5. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
7. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
8. Review your registration summary.
